Hon’ble Delhi High Court has directed to grant equivalence to D.Ed.Spl.Edu. with D.El.Ed./TTC for the purpose of appointment of special teachers in all the schools in the State as well as schools run by local bodies of Delhi. National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) granting approval to D.Ed. Spl.Edu qualifications for appointment of elementary teachers in general schools. Chances of securing a job in Govt. departments, medical and paramedical services, NGOs, in public as well as private sectors are bright. The length of credentials in Education is 2 years.

INSTITUTIONS & COURSES

Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission, D.ed.spl.edu. TTC has been running this course since 2003.Our centre approved by RCI, New Delhi, Centre code is WB017. We have only 30 seats and only for girls. We have hostel facilities for girls’ students. In our campus we have a Special school, B.ed.spl (ODL) study centre. Many of our students have been get their jobs in primary schools, upper Primary schools, special schools, English medium schools, various govt. sectors and NGOs    RCI lays down norms regarding various aspects of training and education in the field of Disability Rehabilitation and Special Education. Term end /semester examinations for Diploma level courses are conducted by RCI through an authorized examination board.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The minimum academic qualification for admission to Diploma courses is 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized by Central/State Board of Education. Those who have appeared/ appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by Central/State Board of Education may also apply for admission to these courses.

RESERVATION

The reservation of seats in these courses for different castes will be as per State and Central Government rules. For OBC, 27% extra seats (over and above total intake for each course) are available for centrally administered institutions only.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

ALL INDIA ONLINE APTITUDE TEST FOR ADMISSION – RCI is conducting an All India Aptitude Test for Admission to the said Diploma courses throughout the country. These Diploma Courses are recognized by the Council and conducted by different institutions (including RKVM TTC, WB017) throughout the country.

FEES

In this 2 years diploma course have 4 semesters. Yearly fees are Rs. 35,000. In this covid situation we are providing scholarship up to Rs.10,000 in 2 years. Also, you can pay fees semester wise Rs. 15,000. Hostel fees is Rs.3000 per month (fooding and lodging).
